New Orient Mako Solar Chronograph - Green colourway exclusive to the UK

The Orient Mako Chronograph is the first chronograph in the Orient Mako Diver design series which is both solar-powered, and possess a sporty and casual style.

For the first time, this line-up now includes solar-powered chronograph model alongside the existing mechanical watch. The new watch is powered by converting energy obtained from sunlight and other sources into electrical energy, so there is no need to replace batteries. This makes it convenient for daily use and outdoor activities when the chronograph function is used.

This new chronograph Orient Mako Diver design model features a uni-directional rotating bezel with six grooves common to the series, along with a metal dial with a fine lustre finish.

Solar battery charging is achieved through the three subdials; a 24-hour indicator at 3 o’clock, a 60-minute counter at 6 o’clock, and a small second subdial at 9 o’clock. An Arabic numeral inspired by the first Orient Mako Diver design model adorns the 12 o’clock position, and Luminous Light is used for the numeral, indices and hands, allowing the wearer to read the time even in the dark.
