Europe’s largest poke chain Poke House has announced a career and food workshop where candidates could leave with a job offer in just two hours.

The number of people looking for work in the UK may have risen whilst job vacancies fall, but as it grows in the UK, Poke House is putting on a free event to offer career advice, industry insight, networking and importantly meet some people to join the Poke House Squad.

The two-hour event, perfect for foodies and those interested in hospitality, won’t just offer advice and networking, but to successful candidates for a job. And all in just two hours.

WHAT : Free poke bowl, networking, games, goody bag and maybe even a job offer!

The free-to-attend ‘Poke Artist Workshop’ is open to 20 guests and will see candidates’ network with members of the Poke House UK team including country managers, marketing managers and area managers before learning more about the industry and brand.

Guests will then take part in a food workshop where a ‘Poke Artist’ will teach them more about the Poke House concept, show them how to make the perfect poke bowl and, importantly, enjoy the bowl with other guests.

Finally, all attendees will have a casual interview with members of the Poke House team, with up to half of the attendees being offered a job as a ‘Poke Artist’ before leaving.

Come and leave with a full stomach and job offer in under two hours.

Rob Wickenden, Poke House UK Country Manager, said: “We have some extremely exciting job roles available at Poke House and given more people are actively seeking work, we thought this event was the perfect way to not just offer some career guidance, but maybe even a job too.
