Ukraine's First Single Farm Organic Vodka, Mikolasch, launches in the UK redefining the modern day vodka exper

This month, Mikolasch , a single farm, organic vodka from Lviv in Ukraine will arrive in the UK. Targeting a new generation of spirit lovers, Mikolasch shines a light on the unrivalled terroir of Ukraine as one of the three oldest producing vodka countries, and revives this much celebrated spirit once again, for a discerning, new international audience.

Distilled from top-grade corn, Mikolasch is produced in the renowned, nutritional-rich soils of the Lviv, and surrounding regions, of Western Ukraine, using spring water sourced from an on-site well that runs off the Carpathian Mountains. Originally established in 1842 by the illustrious Mikolasch family, who have been making vodka using agricultural methods in Lviv for over 180 years, Mikolasch has now returned to production as the oldest vodka brand in the world.* Standing out from the crowd with its transparent approach, highlighting the type of corn used, the field origin or ‘terroir’, listing the seasons’ climate and harvest, the farming enterprise and even the farmer on every bottle.

Presented in an eye-catching slim-necked bottle, Mikolasch is already available at some of London’s most prestigious bars and restaurants, including the renowned Gong Bar at Shangri-La, the Treehouse Hotel, Bardo St James, and Scales Bar in Mayfair. Signature serves will include the ‘M for Martini’, ‘M for Mule’ and ‘Blue Skies’ highball cocktails.

Zak Oganian, CEO of ORIGEN X Group, trailblazers in the luxury spirits industry says: “With such rare history and unmatched Ukrainian terroir, we’re excited to introduce Mikolasch to the UK and bring the the best of the region's rich vodka-making tradition to a premium global audience. Mikolasch is crafted specifically to appeal to a new generation of spirit lovers looking for authenticity, transparency and quality in every bottle. We are immensely proud of our progress, and delighted to see customers already embracing the brand’s legacy and deep agricultural roots.”

In a competitive market diluted with plentiful generic vodkas, Mikolasch stands out from the crowd with its ‘single farm’ authentic, terroir-driven first expression, distilled from traceable farmed organic corn, championing the brand’s commitment to the profound impact that agriculture, origin, production and type of grain has on the vodka's flavour profile.

Mikolasch is available to purchase on The Whisky Exchange for £24.50 a bottle. For more information on the brand's story, please visit www.mikolaschvodka.com .
