Di Giovanna is a family run wine and olive oil brand. Based in the heart of western Sicily the family and the brand boast that traditional authentic italian wine feel. Is this something thats missing from most of whats on the shelves today? I certainly think so.
The Di Giovanna company is a family owned and run brand founded by Aurelio and Barbara Di Giovanna the parents of the brothers Gunther and Klaus who are now in charge of managing the winery. Located in the mountains, on the slopes of Monte Genuardo, the winery is a protected nature reserve.
The family produce 4 different types of wines; White, Rose, Red & Natural wines whilst also producing Gerbino olive Oil. The Di Giovanna family are considered one of the oldest wine families in Sicily. Focusing their production on native Sicilian vines such as: Nero d'Avola, Nerello Mascalese, Grillo, Catarratto but do also produce some international varieties such as; Chardonnay, Syrah and Merlot
