To celebrate Wimbledon and as a nod to the great British Summer, the iconic Soho restaurant 40 Dean Street has created an instant ‘smash’; The Strawberries & Cream Risotto. This seriously summery dish is created from the very best arborio rice, parmesan, a dash of cream, a little champagne and lots of lovely strawberries.
The dish only calls for a dash of cream as arborio rice and parmesan when cooked together create a naturally creamy texture. The flavour is not cloying or too sweet, but rather a very delicate well balanced one. One which can't be matched!
This delicious dish, priced at £21 for a main sized portion. Looking for a doubles partner for the dish. Then pair with a glass of fizz or even a Pimms.
The special will only be on the menu for a few weeks, so if you want to try it, head down to Dean Street pronto. You need to specify on your booking you want the Strawberries and Cream Risotto, as the dish is a strictly limited edition.
